Comme nous avions une escale assez courte nous avions peur de rater le vol suivant mais par chance les turcs sont tr\u00e8s bien organis\u00e9s et nous ont fait pass\u00e9 directement, sans passer par la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 pour arriver \u00e0 la porte juste au moment de l\u2019embarquement. Donc ouf c\u2019\u00e9tait bon.<\/div>\n<div><iframe data-src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/6VIaDCai9RY\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" class=\"lazyload\" data-load-mode=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Turkish est vraiment une compagnie tr\u00e8s agr\u00e9able j&rsquo;avais un a priori qui s&rsquo;est r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 compl\u00e9ment faux, les avions sont supers et confortables et le personnel tr\u00e8s agr\u00e9able (voir <a href=\"https:\/\/travelwithlaurenceandco.fr\/index.php\/2020\/02\/26\/avis-sur-les-compagnies-aeriennes-que-jai-pu-tester\/\">mon avis sur les compagnies a\u00e9riennes<\/a>). Nous arrivons \u00e0 l&rsquo;a\u00e9roport de Colombo (qui n&rsquo;est pas du tout \u00e0 Colombo \ud83d\ude09 ) sous un temps pluvieux et un air lourd puis direction notre h\u00f4tel directement \u00e0 Habarana (impossible de retrouver le nom de l\u2019h\u00f4tel d\u00e9sol\u00e9e) qui se situe au c\u0153ur du \u00ab\u00a0Triangle Culturel\u00a0\u00bb car \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 des grands sites arch\u00e9ologiques. Les ruines s\u2019\u00e9tendent sur plusieurs kilom\u00e8tres donc vous pouvez aussi louer un v\u00e9lo pour aller plus vite entre les diff\u00e9rents sites. Nous d\u00e9couvrons alors les jardins, de nombreux temples, la citadelle, le Palais Royal et des bouddhas, dont le c\u00e9l\u00e8bre \u00ab\u00a0Grand Bouddha couch\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb, long de 14 m\u00e8tres.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nous rentrons \u00e0 notre h\u00f4tel voulant profitez de la piscine mais pas de chance il pleut.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Petite pr\u00e9cision en octobre ce n&rsquo;est pas la mousson mais une petite saison des pluies qui est apparue d\u2019apr\u00e8s les locaux apr\u00e8s le s\u00e9isme de 2004, oui ce n&rsquo;est ps la meilleur saison pour partir au Sri Lanka. Sur la face ouest, la paroi est d\u00e9cor\u00e9e de fresques c\u00e9l\u00e8bres, les extraordinaires \u00ab\u00a0Demoiselles de Sigiriya\u00a0\u00bb (pas de photo possible;aller au petit mus\u00e9e \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9, si vous voulez la prendre en photo car une r\u00e9plique grandeur nature y est install\u00e9e). Pr\u00e9voyez de partir t\u00f4t le matin pour monter le rocher car vous aurez chaud pendant l&rsquo;ascension et prenez de l&rsquo;eau. La vue au sommet est \u00e9poustouflante, on a un panorama sur les environs magnifique et d\u00e9gag\u00e9.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Si vous avez le vertige prenez vos pr\u00e9cautions car la derni\u00e8re partie est \u00e0 flanc de montagne avec juste des escaliers \u00ab\u00a0grille\u00a0\u00bb donc \u00e7a peut \u00eatre impressionnant.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Petite mise en garde : des locaux vous proposeront de l&rsquo;aide, ne croyez pas \u00e0 leur bonne volont\u00e9 car ils vous demanderont de l&rsquo;argent et vous aurez du mal \u00e0 vous en d\u00e9faire (j&rsquo;en ai fait la malheureuse exp\u00e9rience et ce m\u00eame en refusant leur aide ils vous forcent la main, donc faites attention).<\/em><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nous nous rendons ensuite vers le site d\u2019Avukana, parc verdoyant aux nombreux bassins et lacs artificiels. Au centre de cet ensemble se trouve une statue d&rsquo;un Bouddha debout d\u2019environ 12 m\u00e8tres, taill\u00e9e dans un bloc de granit au Ve si\u00e8cle.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Le Sri Lanka est un pays qui a depuis longtemps prot\u00e9g\u00e9 ses ressources. En effet la protection des for\u00eats a commenc\u00e9 en 1938 et continue aujourd&rsquo;hui afin de prot\u00e9ger la faune et la flore. Ce site se situe tout en haut d&rsquo;une montagne, la vue y est encore une fois tr\u00e8s belle et les diff\u00e9rentes grottes ont bien \u00e9t\u00e9 restaur\u00e9es (une \u00e9tait en cours de restauration lors de notre passage). En redescendant vers la ville vous arriverez au temple d&rsquo;or de Dambulla (assez kitsch d\u2019ext\u00e9rieur mais original).<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dans, et \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 des temples vous verrez plein de singes, ceux ci sont sauvages et parfois agressifs. Donc, ne laissez pas tra\u00eener de nourriture mais vous pouvez les observer sans probl\u00e8me.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ensuite, sur notre route pour nous rendre \u00e0 Kandy, nous nous arr\u00eatons aux alentours de Matale pour visiter un jardin d\u2019\u00e9pices, les amateurs appr\u00e9cieront de voir leurs \u00e9pices pousser en pleine nature avec des explications en fran\u00e7ais (assez rare pour \u00eatre not\u00e9) et la possibilit\u00e9 d&rsquo;en acheter. --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 640\/266;\" \/><\/div>\n<h2>Kandy et les environs<\/h2>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Le sixi\u00e8me jour, nous profitons du temps cl\u00e9ment du matin pour aller faire une balade dans les rizi\u00e8res \u00e0 une dizaine de kilom\u00e8tres de Kandy pour d\u00e9couvrir 3 jolis temples bouddhistes et hindous : Gadaladeniya Maha, Lankathilaka et Embekka Dewalaya.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">L\u2019apr\u00e8s-midi nous nous rendons au jardin botanique de Peradeniya, cr\u00e9\u00e9 en 1816 et mondialement connu, pr\u00e9sentant toute la flore du Sri Lanka. Le parc est vraiment tr\u00e8s agr\u00e9able et beau. --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 225\/300;\" \/><\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<h2>La culture du th\u00e9<\/h2>\n<p>Pour notre 7e jour, nous nous rendons dans la r\u00e9gion de Nuwara Eliya, au c\u0153ur du \u00ab\u00a0pays du th\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb. Cette r\u00e9gion d\u2019altitude avec des pluies r\u00e9guli\u00e8res est tr\u00e8s favorable \u00e0 la culture du th\u00e9 (oui c&rsquo;est parce qu&rsquo;il y pleut beaucoup). En cours de route, nous visitons une plantation de th\u00e9 et sa manufacture, cependant il n&rsquo;y avait pas grand chose \u00e0 voir comme c\u2019\u00e9tait un jour f\u00e9ri\u00e9, je pense qu&rsquo;il vaut mieux le faire un jour ou il y a des ouvriers.<\/p>\n<h2>Le train mythique de Bandarawela<\/h2>\n<p>Puis nous visitons la ville Nuwara Eliya (\u00e0 1900 m), station d&rsquo;altitude cr\u00e9\u00e9e par les Anglais, et qui a gard\u00e9 un c\u00f4t\u00e9 tr\u00e8s \u00ab\u00a0british\u00a0\u00bb. Nous nous rendons en fin d\u2019apr\u00e8s-midi \u00e0 la gare de Nanu Oya pour rejoindre en train Bandarawela (environ 2 heures), petite ville \u00e9tablie \u00e0 1200 m au milieu des plantations de th\u00e9. Malheureusement nous n&rsquo;avons pas pu voir grand chose car il y avait beaucoup de pluie et brouillard (ce qui donne un air mystique assez sympa). Malheureusement, avec les pluies quotidiennes, il y a eu de gros glissements de terrain et le chemin n\u2019\u00e9tait donc pas s\u00fbr (surtout qu&rsquo;il n&rsquo;y a pas forcement de r\u00e9seau dans le coin. Nous n&rsquo;avons pas voulu nous y risquer et avons donc fait une randonn\u00e9e plus petite \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 des Horton Plains qui \u00e9tait tout aussi agr\u00e9able. --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 300\/225;\" \/><\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n<h2>Le parc d&rsquo;Udawalawe<\/h2>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Le jour suivant \u00e9tait un jour attendu, car nous allions voir les \u00e9l\u00e9phants d&rsquo;Udawalawe.<br \/>\nNous commen\u00e7ons par la visite du temple de Buduruwagala, c\u00e9l\u00e8bre falaise sculpt\u00e9e et l\u2019apr\u00e8s midi safari en v\u00e9hicule 4 x 4 dans le Parc National d&rsquo;Udawalawe, r\u00e9put\u00e9 notamment pour ses nombreux \u00e9l\u00e9phants sauvages. Les guides des 4&#215;4 sont supers sympas et s\u2019arr\u00eatent pour montrer les animaux, (beaucoup d&rsquo;oiseaux mais aussi les \u00e9l\u00e9phants, cerfs,&#8230;). Cette journ\u00e9e a \u00e9t\u00e9 majoritairement une journ\u00e9e de route.<\/div>\n<h2>Les pierres pr\u00e9cieuses<\/h2>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nous nous sommes arr\u00eat\u00e9s \u00e0 Ratnapura voir une petite mine traditionnelle de pierres pr\u00e9cieuses (interdiction d&rsquo;utiliser des machines pour l&rsquo;extraction ce qui en fait un m\u00e9tier tr\u00e8s dangereux mais qui aussi tr\u00e8s r\u00e9glement\u00e9 par le gouvernement du Sri Lanka). Cette ville est sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e dans l\u2019industrie des pierres pr\u00e9cieuses avec pas moins de 25 vari\u00e9t\u00e9s telles que le rubis, la tourmaline, le saphir, la topaze ou le grenat.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Moi qui adore les animaux, je me suis aper\u00e7ue que ceux du Sri Lanka ne m\u2019aiment sans doute pas. En effet en visitant la mine je n&rsquo;avais pas vu une vache\/ b\u0153uf arriv\u00e9 et on s&rsquo;est retrouv\u00e9s nez \u00e0 nez, j&rsquo;ai donc fait ce que toute personne sens\u00e9e ferait&#8230; je me suis retourn\u00e9e&#8230; et j&rsquo;ai couru me mettre \u00e0 l&rsquo;abri dans une rizi\u00e8re (haha!!). Aussi quand on attendait le train \u00e0 la gare j&rsquo;ai failli me faire croquer le mollet par un chien. Il y a beaucoup \u00e0 voir dans ce pays.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nous avons eu de la pluie presque tous les apr\u00e8s-midis (sauf le jour de la visite de la r\u00e9serve en 4&#215;4). Cela bloque pas mal pour les visites car m\u00eame avec la cape de pluie \u00e7a finit par \u00eatre p\u00e9nible = mauvaise saison pour le Sri Lanka partez en septembre\u00a0 ou d\u00e9cembre mais pas en octobre.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Je n&rsquo;ai pas \u00e9t\u00e9 malade, ce qui est un exploit, car je suis tr\u00e8s sensible de ce c\u00f4t\u00e9. On trouve de la nourriture pas trop \u00e9pic\u00e9e dans les restaurants pour touristes. M\u00e9fiez-vous des restos locaux si vous ne supportez pas le piment car \u00e7a vous br\u00fble litt\u00e9ralement les l\u00e8vres tellement c&rsquo;est fort. Et quand on vous dit que ce n&rsquo;est pas \u00e9pic\u00e9 c&rsquo;est sans doute qu&rsquo;ils ont mis du poivre ;).
